I have never had much luck selling things through Craig’s List or eBay.

They specialize in everything from preparing the property to appeal to prospective sellers to all of the closing requirements. Turning over the responsibility to the property sale company took a tremendous weight off my shoulders. It freed up time for me to pack my things, arrange for bigger items to be shipped and also find a place to live in my new location. The agent who I worked with was really wonderful about keeping me informed. He was able to minimize the disruption to my life and got me a really great price for my home. Like any other specialized field, it is best to find people who are experienced and knowledgeable in the complexities.
